TODOS Scholarships

At Barcelona SAE, we believe that studying and interning abroad should be affordable and accessible to ALL students. In addition to our low program costs, Barcelona SAE works with your home institution to accept most forms of financial aid…and we also have a wide variety of scholarships to help you bring your costs down even further.

The state and federal financial aid that you apply at your home institution can often be applied to your Barcelona SAE program, including but not limited to: Parent PLUS Loans, Stafford Loans, Pell Grants, and many more. You will need to confirm with both your study abroad and financial aid advisors that the aid that you are eligible for can be used for a Barcelona SAE program, and we’ll work with you and your home institution to make the payment process as smooth as possible.

All TODOS scholarships are focused on removing the barriers that keep students who are not traditionally represented in studying/ interning abroad. This group includes, but is not limited to students with diverse race, ethnicity, sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or veteran status.

TODOS Academic Study Need Based Scholarship

This scholarship is for students that demonstrate financial need and are planning on studying abroad with Barcelona SAE.

Scholarship Amounts:

• $1500 for Semester Study Abroad Participants
• $500 for Summer/January Term Study Abroad Participants
• $250 for Faculty-Led or Customized Programs Study Abroad Participants (8 Weeks or Less)

TODOS Internship Need-Based Scholarship *new

This scholarship is for students that demonstrate financial need and are planning on interning abroad with Barcelona SAE.

Scholarship Amounts:

• $1000 for In-Person Interns with a September – April Start Date
• $500 for In-Person Interns with a May – June Start Date
• $150 for Virtual Interns (All Start Dates)

TODOS Virtual Internship Full Scholarship*new

The TODOS Virtual Internship Full Scholarship is focused on removing the barriers that often keep underrepresented groups with high financial need from participating in a virtual internship abroad.

This scholarship provides:

• Full tuition for a 4, 8, or 12 week non-credited virtual internship (although some students may obtain credit from their home university). Students may receive academic credit through our internship school of record, Plymouth State University, for an additional $1000.
• Please note that the awardee must pay the $75 non-refundable application fee and any associated travel expenses.

TODOS MSI Scholarship

The MSI Scholarship is focused on removing the barriers that often keep underrepresented groups, specifically from MSI’s, from studying or interning abroad.

Scholarship Amounts:

• $1000 for Semester Study Abroad Participants
• $750 for In-Person Internship Participants
• $350 for Summer/January Term Study Abroad Participants
• $250 for Faculty-Led or Customized Programs Study Abroad Participants (8 Weeks or Less)

TODOS SIS Summer Ambassador Full Scholarship

The TODOS Summer Ambassador Full Scholarship is focused on removing the barriers that often keep underrepresented groups with high financial need from studying abroad, specifically during the summer.

This scholarship provides:

• Full tuition for 3 credits + accommodation for a Barcelona SIS summer student.  
• If the student wishes to enroll in additional credits, they will be responsible for the additional tuition cost.
• Please note that the awardee must pay the $75 non-refundable application fee and any associated travel expenses.
